React Native + Node.js Mobile App Developer

Digital Strategy Co® is looking for a passionate React Native + Node.js Mobile App Developer to join our growing technology team. You'll work on modern mobile applications that solve real-world problems while collaborating with experienced product leaders, designers, and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
• Design and develop secure backend APIs using Node.js
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services
• Work with MongoDB and other databases to design efficient data models
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive user experiences
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
• Write clean, reusable, well-documented code following industry best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to deliver new features on schedule

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of professional experience developing mobile applications
• Strong experience with React Native
• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern development practices
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs
• Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

Candidates with experience in any of the following will have an advantage:

• DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Application deployment on DigitalOcean, AWS, or Microsoft Azure
• Docker and containerization
• Load balancing and horizontal application scaling
• Performance optimization and caching
• Database optimization and indexing for MongoDB
• Authentication and security best practices (JWT, OAuth)
• Push notifications and Firebase integration
• Unit testing, integration testing, and automated Quality Assurance
• Monitoring and logging tools
• Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Gemini, or similar tools to improve productivity and code quality
